The primary level of Handbell instruction for the Stafford Regional Handbell Society. Students who achieve this level wear the purple achievement belt and are able to perform in the Ringtones ensemble. This Beginning level ensemble is for young ringers in grades 2 - 5. Students are placed in this ensemble upon their enrollment in the Stafford Regional Handbell Society's "Bells After School" program or through being a part of the Thursday evening only options. There is no experience necessary to join and all who are enrolled will learn the basics of musicianship, reading music and basic rhythms and beginning handbell techniques. Students progress through individual skill training as well as by playing in a group setting.
