Make A Musical Explosion
The fourth level of Handbell instruction for the Stafford Regional Handbell Society. Students who achieve this level wear the brown achievement belt and are able to master their advanced skills learned either in the Overtones group or from prior outside music instruction. This Advanced level ensemble is for experienced ringers in grades 5 - 9. Students are placed in this ensemble by completion of the Overtones Mastery Skills test and by audition. For those who have not completed our prior levels of ensemble instruction, advanced music reading skills are required, i.e. 3 years of band or 4 years of piano, for placement. In addition, those coming to audition without former handbell experience will have to complete a handbell techniques workshop.
